The Pacific Northwest is an area of America the team at The Great Divide have a real affinity with. A lot of the brands we buy are based in the area, which encapsulates the states of Washington & Oregon, and over the years we have spent a lot of time in those cities, visiting brand's factories and learning more about the area. The two main cities which feature are Portland & Seattle, both of which are ruggedly independent, with a passion for local microbreweries, artisan products and with a climate similar to London, pretty wet, some sunshine but generally a nice place to be in.

They've both got an easy going lifestyle, but what we really love is the great outdoors of the PNW, you can be snowboarding in the mountains one minute, and down by the beach within an hour to surf. The PNW lifestyle is what we base The Great Divide around. We wanted products with a real story, that are rugged, can last forever, and are unique, whether that be family run businesses or hand made products.
