New Music Tuesday 28 - Tangled Hair

Posted by Alex Bohea on April 29, 2014

A weekly feature here at The Great Divide Blog is our New Music Tuesday; introducing you to an artist or band you may not have heard of. We can’t guarantee that you won’t have heard of them, but if that’s the case, it might give you a little reminder to revisit them sometime soon.

This week it’s a band I’ve been revisiting over the past few days. One of those bands where you accidently lose them in the wealth of your iPod and rediscover them months/years later having forgotten how good they were. The Apples EP is what led me to this discovery and the band is Tangled Hair.

It’s made me quite happy to find that they are, in fact, still a band and still making music. I remember checking these guys out years ago when my friend showed me a flyer for a gig with the three t’s; Tangled Hair, Tall Ships and Tubelord (forever RIP). How I wish I’d gone to that show, as they’re probably three of the most fun “t” bands to ever exist. Speaking of RIP, Tangled Hair is formed of two members from Colour, another amazing band you should check out if you get the chance.

Currently writing a new album in their own, sweet time, check out Tangled Hair below.
