In 1909 Thomas L.Kay and his family moved to Pendleton in northeastern Oregon and took over the defunct Pendleton Woolen Mills and started there business there. Since then Pendleton has become renowned for their Native American inspired blanket designs and durable woollen shirts. Today the company is still privately owned by the family and operates across eight facilities in America.

Pendleton's Jacquard Throws are a smaller version of their Native American inspired blankets. Still woven in their famous mills, they are perfect for napping, reading or simply admiring, they look great tossed over a sofa or chair, or folded at the foot of the guest bed. The intricate, Native American-inspired designs are sure to be conversation starters wherever they land.

The Kitt Peak Jacquard Throw is inspired by when night falls, Kitt Peak Observatory springs to life. Seven thousand feet above Arizona’s saguaro forests, Kitt Peak’s 24 telescopes are the largest gathering of astronomical instruments in the world.
