Camp Blanket - High Ridge
In 1909 Thomas L.Kay and his family moved to Pendleton in northeastern Oregon and took over the defunct Pendleton Woolen Mills and started there business there. Since then Pendleton has become renowned for their Native American inspired blanket designs and durable woollen shirts. Today the company is still owned by the family and all blankets are proudly made in Pendleton, Oregon.
The Pendleton Camp Blankets are favorites around the campfire and in front of the fireplace. Made with soft, durable wool, woven in Pendleton's Mills using richly colored mix yarns and iconic stripes. These stripes were inspired by the ombre blankets that cowboys carried on their saddles, to unroll when they made camp after long days of riding the range.
This style of Camp blanket is Green Heather, which has been an icon of Pendleton collection for many seasons. It comes wrapped in a Leather carrier, and is big enough to go over a double bed, or is perfect for snuggling up on the sofa or camping out in the wilderness.
