There’s legendary history and Hawaiian heritage stitched into every Reyn Spooner garment. Created in 1961, the story of Reyn Spooner began when someone showed him an inside-out shirt sewn by a local bartender/surfer in Hawaii. By combining the inside-out method with his own eye for more sophisticated prints and paired it with the classic tailoring of an oxford cloth shirt. Combining surfer “cool” with Ivy League traditionalism, the world's iconic Hawaiian shirts are now available at The Great Divide.
The Palm Shores shirt is a new style for Reyn Spooner. Typically Hawaii, it is made using Reyn Spooner's famous Spooner Kloth™ which was introduced in 1964. It is a breathable yet wrinkle free blend of cotton and spun poly. With a unique screen printing process, Spooner Kloth™ allows for the perfect ink penetration for that recognisable Reyn Spooner reverse-print look. As the ink penetrates the fibers, it also adds a little more structure to the fabric. You can sit on an airplane for 12 hours and still walk off the plane with a fresh looking shirt that stands out in the crowd.
