Ebbets Field Flannels
Ebbets Field Flannels was started by Jerry Cohen in 1987, who has been an avid collector of baseball cards and jerseys since his youth. In the mid 80's he would wear the oversized woollen baseball jersey to play live in his Rockabilly band back in Seattle. They became a bit of an obsession as he began to research more into their history. “Over a two year period I gradually became more and more obsessed with the idea. I eventually located some of the old fabric in a warehouse and started to make shirts for myself, and other people wanted them and one thing led to another.”
Fast forward 25 years and Ebbets Field Flannels make and sell baseball shirts, jackets and caps all over the world and have collaborated with the likes of BAPE, Our Legacy, Supreme, YMC and J. Crew, to mention but a few. The brand continues to be run by its original founders, and remains committed to bringing the quality, beauty and craftsmanship of mid-Century American athletic garments to a 21st Century public.
