Founded in 2008, 3Sixteen is the ultimate denim brand. Working directly with the iconic Kuroki Mills in Japan to develop customised denim designed to withstand hard wear and tell its own story along the way. Cut and sewn in the USA with these iconic fabrics make a product so good that the customer will get always get a well aged product, never 'old'.
The 3Sixteen Cinch Fatigue Pant takes design cues from the military surplus pant that was standard issue for the US Army. The pant silhouette is the roomiest of all 3Sixteen's bottoms and features a straight leg, higher rise, and roomy top block. The Cinch Fatigue includes elastic drawstrings at the cuffs that allow the wearer to tighten them up at the bottom; they can also be left loose to fit over boots or other bulkier footwear.
For SS20, the Cinch Fatigue features a beautiful Japanese 5x5 weave denim from Nihon Menpu. Unlike a standard 3x1 denim twill, this basket weave has a different hand and appearance; it’s got a coarse texture that is really brought to the forefront by the mill rinse. With this pant, we really wanted to try and reimagine what denim was and how it could be used in different and unconventional ways. What came up with is a pair of fatigues that are soft and ready to wear from day one, but will still fade as it’s worn and washed over time.
