Founded in 1988, Ebbets Field Flannels have become renowned for their ability to manufacture exact replicas of genuine mid-Century American sportswear apparel. Inspired by lesser-known independent league teams and dedicated to using original materials and techniques, Ebbets Field Flannels are committed to staying faithful to original designs and have grown to become the finest producer of vintage American baseball attire.
The Fuji Athletic Club Grounds Crew Jacket stems from the Portland Fuji baseball team, who were coached by Frank Fukuda, who was fundamental in developing Japanese Baseball in the Pacific Northwest. Fukuda played, coached, and managed for the Seattle Asahi, and other local ball clubs for nearly two decades. He moved to Portland in 1927, where he continued to lead teams to league and tournament championships.
All Ebbets Field Flannels Grounds Crew Jackets are made-in-America using a lightweight cotton blend water resistant fabric. The Crew Jacket is unlined, making it the perfect spring/summer jacket, aimed at celebrating the men who kept the field in tip-top shape. These jackets feature sewn felt chest and back lettering, a pencil pocket and inner cell phone pocket.
