CARRY ALONG MOTOR ROBE - VINTAGE DRESS STEWART
In 1909 Thomas L.Kay and his family moved to Pendleton in northeastern Oregon and took over the defunct Pendleton Woolen Mills and started there business there. Since then Pendleton has become renowned for their Native American inspired blanket designs and durable woollen shirts. Today the company is still owned by the family and all blankets are proudly made in Pendleton, Oregon.
The Pendleton Motor Robes were originally called steamer rugs during the early 20th Century, as they were used on the trains in the PNW. These blankets were a warm, welcome companion for those who traveled by horse drawn carriage, train or boat.
This plaid is called Vintage Dress Stewart. Motor Robes are perfect for warm summer picnics, stowing in the car for unexpected adventures or just curling up with at home. Each Motor Robe comes with a convenient carrier that has a handle and a shoulder strap.
