Founded in 1920, Dehen are a family business that have become iconic for their classic and traditional U.S. heavyweight apparel. Made famous by knitting varsity and collegiate sweaters, as well as their Varsity Jackets, each item is still made by hand in their workshop in Portland. Heavy Duty, Old School Truth.

William Dehen built the first Dehen varsity jacket in 1951. More than seventy years and countless jackets later, Dehen continues to craft every jacket by hand, using time honored methods, and the best materials available. By combining their signature 100% wool knit fabric with the athletic inspired but timeless fit of the Dehen classic varsity jacket,we  left with a new combination that honors both history and future.
