Paraboot

Paraboot began in 1908 in the Chartreuse mountains of France, when shoemaker Rémy-Alexis Richard started making fine leather shoes for Parisian clients. A 1926 trip to the US introduced him to rubber, and in 1927 he combined it with classic leather uppers to create Paraboot — named after the Amazonian rubber port Pará.

Today, Paraboot is the definitive post-sneaker brand: no gimmicks, just understated French quality across business, casual, sportswear, and outdoor lines. Made in Europe, built to last. If you own one great pair of shoes, make it Paraboot.
