WASHED FLANNEL WORK SHIRT - NIGHT PITCH
Wythe NY was started in 2019 when founder Peter Middleton had a goal of creating a new vision of Americana by finding icons of the past, like the perfect Oxford shirt, an authentic denim pearl snap or a simply beautiful grey sweatshirt worn to perfection. These were all items he could find in his local mall, but the soul of the garment had been ripped out. He wanted to feel like Miles Davis, James Dean or Paul Newman when he wore these classic American items. This dream of a lost Americana became Wythe. The brand source amazing and unique fabrics from Bedford Cord, Rigid and Raw denim and Sheltland wool sweaters and accessories. Wythe takes bygone heirlooms of the past, remade to fit well and last long enough to be passed down to the next generation of Preppy dreamers. Here at TGD, we are very privileged to be one of only a tiny handful of stockists of Wythe outside of the USA. We see Wythe as the answer to the new wave of Americana and vintage, reinterpreted for now.
These flannels are built from the ground up to look and feel like flannels from the 30s and 40s. Super soft for that lived-in feeling. Workshirts feature acorn pockets, corozo buttons, and triple needle side seams and custom cream enamel snaps. Both are roomier, casual fits.
