Big Rock Candy Mountaineering designs vintage-inspired outdoor clothing based on early American alpinists, mountaineers, and gear innovators who defined the outdoor style of the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. Founded by Sam and Peter in 2022, the brand has a very unique nostalgic nod to the good old days of climbing and mountaineering, with beautiful Vintage West Coast inspired takes on winter jackets, tough canvas shirting and proper accessories. Based on the extreme cold-weather parkas pioneered by American outdoor brands in the mid-century, the model stays true to the originals with a nylon shell in bright colors and a warm duck-down fill. Nostalgia and Outdoor heritage at its best.
