New this Autumn Winter to TGD is an icon of Japanese Americana, Orslow. Founded in 2005 by Ichiro Nakatsu, his passion for vintage US denim, historic workwear and military inspired items brought him to perfecting the design of new garments based on the quality and amazing builds of the old. He began scouring the famous Military and Americana markets in Osaka throughout the 90’s and early 00’s, buying and collecting pieces with feeling and a story. Once the products were in hand, he began working on creating Orslow as a contemporary and modern day replica of the best everyday clothing products ever made.
A relaxed fitting, short sleeved work shirt cut from a lightweight, airy cotton chambray in white with a subtle sheer finish. features a classic collar, button-closure breast pockets, a faux rear yoke, reinforcement gussets at the side seams, and runoff stitch detailing at the side seams. evoking classic workwear in its design and construction, the silhouette offers a timeless look that is endlessly wearable while the lightness of the fabric offers excellent temperature control. sewn using durable chain stitched, flat felled seams throughout for Orslow’s trademark hard wearing finish; melamine buttons
