Big Rock Candy Mountaineering designs vintage-inspired outdoor clothing based on early American alpinists, mountaineers, and gear innovators who defined the outdoor style of the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. Founded by Sam and Peter in 2022, the brand has a very unique nostalgic nod to the good old days of climbing and mountaineering, with beautiful Vintage West Coast inspired takes on winter jackets, tough canvas shirting and proper accessories. The Metanoia sweater is our heavy-weight (almost 1000G) custom marled quarter zip sweater. Inspired by early mid-layer designs with a boxy, slightly cropped fit perfect for keeping warm without restricting mobility.
