GOWER - DUNE
Cubitts was founded in King’s Cross, London, in 2013, with the belief that spectacles should be loved, not tolerated. Wanted, not needed. That poor eyesight is a blessing, not a curse. The brands mission is to modernise the three century old spectacles industry, combining innovative technology with traditional craftsmanship, and a meticulous attention to detail. Cubitts was named after three brothers. Engineers and architects, they made buildings people loved. The youngest brother was called Lewis. Among newly arrived fountains and brunch spots, his wrought iron rivets still punctuate the King’s Cross ground. You’ll find that same rivet in the corner of a Cubitts frame, a structural bond that holds the spectacles together. The humble rivet. More than a logo, it’s the keystone and foundation of Cubitts
Stylish and sophisticated. The Gower features a deep square lens and a tailored, scholarly flair. Behold its splendidly slender construction and ultra thin temples. Inspired by the 'Golden Age' of optics in the early 20th century.
