Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming our good friend Jay and his partner Lily - the creative force behind Frizmworks, into our studio during their first-ever visit to the UK from Korea. It was a rare and special moment for our team to connect in person with the people behind one of the brands we’ve long admired and supported.
We were especially grateful for the chance to return the favour as Jay and Lily had kindly hosted Joe during his trip to Korea a couple of years ago, offering the warmest welcome and showing him around their world. This time, it was our turn, and it was thoroughly enjoyable to take them around the cities we call home between London and Leeds - sharing local spots, studio time, and a few proper cups of tea.
The visit gave us a chance to dive deeper into the story behind the latest Frizmworks collection. Jay spoke passionately about the design process, the fabric choices, and the subtle evolution of the brand’s identity - balancing utility, craftsmanship, and everyday wearability. Seeing that level of thought up close only reinforced why their pieces resonate so strongly with our community.
Naturally, we swapped a bit of culture too, offering up our hard-earned knowledge of biscuit tea, Percy Pigs, and Yorkshire puddings in exchange for tales of the most impeccably organised Korean forest camping setup we’ve ever seen, along with a generous list of travel recommendations for Jeju Island. All while talking business, of course.
It was an inspiring afternoon full of conversation, shared values, and good energy. We’re proud to carry Frizmworks, and even prouder to know the people behind it. Here’s to more collaborations and continued connection across continents.
